Will's grandfather called the other day to say he was in town with a tour group for two nights and would love to see us. So, we hopping in the car yesterday and drove (not very far at all!) to the hotel up in Myrtle Beach where he was staying to visit for a few minutes.
While we were waiting, Ruthie was being awfully cute and perfectly happy laying down on a chair in the lobby. She attracted the attention of EVERYONE who walked by.
When Ziggy arrived, Wyatt was super excited to see him.
The only way, however, that I could get a sweet smile like this one out of him was to promise him that after I took this picture...
He would be allowed to do this...
I know Ziggy was happy to see them, and I bet there was one jealous Granny sitting in North August last night! But, she'll get her fix in 9 days when we all gather in Waynesville for the Zeigler family Christmas!
Ruthie, who can sometimes be a little finicky about who is holding her (a lot of times it's just Mommy... Will calls me the "off switch" because she can be screaming enraged crying, and then he'll hand her off to me and she'll immediately be bright eyed and bushy tailed!), LOVED sitting with Ziggy!
