This past Sunday, Wyatt's preschool put on a Christmas program. It was Wyatt's first performance!
In the past he's been SO shy about performing in front of people, even just one or two (as evidenced by his last two class parties where he just stood there while all of the other kids performed). So, when they started practicing for this program, I told his teacher to give it a try, but I didn't have high expectations for his participation. The week before the program, he came home from school every day talking about getting up on stage to practice and wearing a costume. So, Sunday rolled around and we went to the church. I dropped him off in the choir room for him to meet his class and get dressed. He seemed to be doing just fine...

So we left him with his class and went and got seats in the sanctuary it. Was already packed, so Will and Ruthie sat in back and I went and stood in the side aisle of the church, as close as I could get.

Of course, he didn't do ANYTHING except stand there... but he didn't even react to the 100+ people in the sanctuary. I am such a proud Mommy!!
